There are several types of skin cancer, such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma, all of which usually require a trained eye to detect and diagnose. Treatment Options

Reconstruction
Often the treated areas are scarred and deformed after skin cancer treatment. Much like techniques used in breast reconstruction, we can perform flap surgery to transplant a flap of living skin and tissue from another area of the body to repair the treated area. Sometimes we need to do a skin graft from one area of the body to another.
Because we are also aesthetic specialists, many patients choose to combine their reconstructive surgery for the skin cancer with a cosmetic procedure, such as a facelift or brow lift.
